Appointment Structure
1st Appointment
$300
The first office visit provides an in-depth analysis of all your chief symptoms and a head-toe review of all body systems to identify every area of concern. At the end of the appointment you are provided with a blood work form to complete based on tests Dr. Castanho wants to analyze. Lifestyle and dietary recommendations are typically made at the first appointment, as well as certain supplement recommendations.
2nd Appointment
$175
The second visit analyzes all completed lab work and explains the connection with your symptoms. Dr. Castanho provides all relevant education and custom tailors a supplement protocol to balance your hormones, treat nutrient deficiencies, and correct any metabolic abnormalities that may exist.
3rd Appointment & Beyond
$125
All follow-up appointments ensure maintenance of optimal health through modifications to your supplement regimen, diet, and lifestyle. Any new symptoms that may arise are discussed at these appointments and addressed accordingly.
The use of natural therapeutics, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal formulas are not included in the above appointment fees. These vary from patient to patient depending on the individuality of each case.
Payment & Insurance
Wholesome Place believes strongly in working directly with patients, not with insurance companies.
Under this model, the appropriate time and attention can be devoted to addressing the true root cause of chronic ailments, not time-limited or curtailed as otherwise restricted by insurance overhead.
Because of this, Wholesome Place does not accept insurance for Naturopathic appointments, but blood work, analyses, and several other tests are covered as they would be by any conventional physician.
This allows for adequate time to collect all health-related information, a detailed explanation of all relevant disease and physiological processes, and an in-depth education of treatment plans and protocols.
Wholesome Place does accept HSA, FSA, and Benny cards. Additionally, a Superbill can be provided to be submitted to the insurance provider for reimbursement.
